i was told that kite flying's for lovers

it's that time again.

I know that I've posted this photograph a few entries ago, but I needed to post it again, because my hair is like this today! My camera is dead, and I need to go buy new batteries. One day, try to do this to your hair!

I'm reading Anne of Green Gables again, and I've realized, again, how much I love it. I relate to Anne so much, and it's such a lovely read.

At least once a week, I take a walk with Beverley (a-bev-blog.blogspot.com), and today our walk lasted almost 2 hours. We were at a park at one point, and a little boy, about 5 years old, was trying to talk to us. He had run across the street(without looking both ways before crossing) wearing a orange and navy blue winter jacket, and was trying to get into the park to talk to us. He was holding toys, and books, and he was saying things, but it was difficult to hear him since we were ways away. He tried to get past the chain surrounding the park, but he was too short to step over, and too weak to pick it up and go underneath. We were giggling about his cute factor, when a woman came out of the house and ran across the street to the boy. I'm assuming she was his mother. She picked him up and began to scold him, and I felt so sad, I just wanted to hug that kid forever. She brought him back home and I looked at the door a minute later, and the little boy was looking out the window sadly.

In my Drama class, we are currently doing monologues. My monologue is about a girl named Karen who has an eating disorder. I have to have it memorized and perform it by Friday, and I'm not sure if I'll be ready in time. Any tips for memorizing?

Remember how I told you about that solo in Vocal Jazz? Well I got one of them! I'm glad. Emma, (emmaisenthused.blogspot.com) has a solo in that song that has more or less the same tune, and I'm glad that she got one too. Thank you everyone, for your support!

I am currently listening to That's How You Know from the movie Enchanted. It is so delightful, if you haven't seen it, you probably should! Take my advice and see it, and love it. Tomorrow is my dance recital, and I'm going to get to do my hair up in a fun way! This post has a bunch of pictures, mostly of 'hairspiration'. I got the photos from various sources. I'm off now, to eat some torte and watch Annie! Have a great end of the month!

I love Anne of Green Gables, my only problem is that once I start I can't stop and I have to read every book in the series.
The little boy sounds so cute. I love when little kids tell you stories about their day.
Congrats on getting the solo.
As for your monolog try to memorize it in small parts, once you know the first bit, move onto the second then say the first and second part together and so on, until you have the entire thing memorized.(I hope that made sense) good luck

Thank you! I love the girls myself - which is rare, I usually hate my art when it's done!
