like a field of rice, i've grown out of view

i have been having nonstop rehearsals! i haven't been able to get much of a break lately. but, i love it. i love it so much. i've also been listening to a lot of michael buble and musicals. i'm very excited to put on a show as amazing as chicago. i'm also doing a monologue from A Chorus Line for a drama class. what did you guys think of the new episode of glee?
i want to be living for me more than for other people.
i want to watch rugrats with my girls more.
i want to take more walks in the spring air.
i want to find my lost shoe.
i want no more of this spiritual fatigue that is haunting around me.
i want you to get back into my life.

this is a cake that one of our stage managers made for chicago. it has roxie and velma sitting downstage on it. and then my drama teacher at the back! she's an artist with pastry. sorry if my posting is a little bit slow for the next little while, i promise i'll post pictures of the show after it is done.

it all seemed quite natural

there was a pretty girl and she maybe liked this one boy but he was most likely leading her on; playing her. she was a bit scared to fall, but she did: halfway. then his not so good side kept shining through. she was a good person, and didn't care enough to do something about it. this boy told her stories of love and commitment and growing old together. it was too good to be true.
which is unfair. so she said, "butter me up, my buttercup-that's how you seem to play. thing is, you won't be with me-though you always get your way."

the excitement is gone and now she is just a pretty girl with a silly face. she said, "but baby, we made a promise; a promise to hang on!"

she took a breath, and said to herself, "now the wind is blowing blowing, and look at that; you're gone."

but stay strong she did, as she wouldn't let something like that mess up her ruffles.
staying at your best friends' house for four days. mandarin oranges, and promises of cupcakes. going to the movie theatre to see how to train your dragon in 3D. keeping the glasses afterwards. listening to old CDs. cleaning out her bedroom. wearing lace. doing your hair up in a bun. being inspired by movies like the blind side. listening to black and gold by sam sparro. silly jokes on the first day of april. chances. listening to music from the 90s while driving around a city. eating lots of chocolate and drinking apple cider in april.
my lovely friend beverley went on a trip to europe. before she left, she gave me a playlist that doubled as an acrostic poem. tell me if you can figure it out!
